I would pay for more content in presearing. How much more content can I get for 10-20 bux more? I am sure many people would buy it.

PLEASE add more content to pre!

presear definetly holds a special place in my heart but unfortantaly most people just do the bare min req to get out of presear and into post sear. i would love to have fun with this and it would make the title a little less "OMFG YOU HAVE NO LIFE"ish

My opinion is that pre-searing is absolutely fine as it is. Its a training area, not a full-blown quest and missions area. Its purely there to educate you in using your abilities and skills.

Its not intended as a huge grind at all, and purely as a nice gentle learning curve to ease you in. We dont want to add new content to pre-searing otherwise we incourage people never to leave and alot of players do that already spending hours there farming dye just to sell it.

Adding storage is also a bad idea because that would incourage dye farming in that area. Something I expect you want the storage for, because I dont see any better reason to have it.

You're not going to need to store anything in pre-searing because your armor and weapons change with virtually every drop and your armor will change the minute you move to post-ascalon.

Its a learning zone to get you through the first 10ish levels, not a place that was intended to incourage people to stay.

As for protector of ascalon, that title is intended as a grind because achieveing lvl20 inside pre-searing is something you dont need to do. Its purely for show and it has no beneficial sides to it.

/Not signed. They've already added green bags and a cool title for death levelling freaks which is more than enough.

i previously had a topic close to this one, which was somewhat less ambitious, suggesting only the north of the wall outpost. However, it got closed down for the reason that this thread exists. However, this one is recieving less support than my one was due to it's huge ambition factor and many other, less NEEDED requests. with my more realistic one closed, i can no longer gather support for what i believe to be the most necessary point: the outpost.

All i can do now is this: /signed

Isn't pre-searing considered the 'training area' of the game?

A small (10 slot) storage account would be nice, for crafting materials only.

Personally i love pre searing, It is absolutly beatiful. I do have a Pre only character. However i am a guild officer and i mostly use pre for recuiting purposes.

With the addition of the green charr bags storage is a moot point.

an out post in in the northlands is a bad idea i think. it woudl make getting the title that much eaiser. however i think that there should be another explorable area in the north lands with a few higher lvl characters that is only accessable by talking to a NPC after you clear out all the charr. you would have to talk to the person everytime you wished to enter the said area. there could be a small area here with NPC characters. i was thinking mostly a merchant that offered a expert salvage or a collector that offered a expert salvage for maybe like a high number 50 charr carvings. also in the same area perhapps a few higher lvl charr regulars varying in lvls of 8-10 and charr bosses (maybe charr lords) that are maybe just high enough lvl to get you to lvl 19. that way you would have to save all your quest untill lvl 19, so you can get to lvl 20. or maybe the NPC could be there hiding from the charr and grant you exp once you kill all the charr. that way the quest or whatever you want to call it coudl be done over and over again. but it would take time.

it might be hard to do this as mini chapter. but i woudl defently pay up to $20.00 for a new pre mini chapter or even $40.00 as perhaps a extra special propercies edition that included special exclusive pre material. maybe even gave you special greens like in the special edition of propercies. cause you can use those greens in pre already.

and yes pre searing is a tutorial area. so higher lvl weapons are just stupid i think. and along with higher lvl armor. unless perhapps in teh eatra area i am suggesting they put a whole bunch of new armor collectors that maybe collect different items in greater qunaties for better armor. a good idea would be better armor but it would be a tad lower thatn post ascalon armor. and maybe a new helm to match.

perhapps asclaon academy could be added but as a pre only PvP arena. of course different groupings of characters by lvl to fight against.

i would love to see maybe Rin be added and a few extra quests maybe from kind alderan or a few other NPCs.

these are all my ideas. but i think the eaisist way to do this would be the NPC in the north lands.

Adding more to Prophecies would encourage people to buy the game who otherwise would not, I know several people who refuse to buy the first game simply because there's never going to be changes to improve upon it.

I think an outpost north of the wall would be good, but I don't really care for any other changes. Also, I don't think they should ever take the deathleveling aspect out of the defender of ascalon title, because then players from tyria could get both that and survivor, but players from other campaigns can only get one.

I also don't see why anyone would need a merchant in the northlands. With the addition of charr bags, there's plenty of room to carry all the drops back to Ascalon.

But an outpost just so people only had to ask for the gate to be opened once. It wouldn't make the title any less of a grind, because of the fact you still have to deathlevel for a month to get to lvl 20.
